Features Overview

This plugin offers many features, I'll list them below together with a short description of their purpose and a link to their respective Settings category in this guide.

Basic Features

1. Bigger Map Support:

   Offers support for bigger Region Map Sizes that exceed the default size of 480x320.

2. Location Highlighting:

   Highlights the current location the cursor is currently on.

3. Unvisited Location Marking:

   Puts an unvisited Image above a location that hasn't been visited yet. (Only locations with a fly spot.)

4. Pokedex Area Map Scroling:

   Just like the Region Map, the Pokedex allows you to scroll the map as well.

5. Smart Option Selection:

   While on the Region map, the script will remember the last chosen option in the choice menus.

New Features (Added up to v2.7.0)

1. District Names:

   Set up a different Region name for certain parts in the Region.

2. Replace Unvisited Locations with "???":

   Replaces unvisited Location with "???" (for example) so it's not spoiling those locations names yet if they haven't been visited.

3. Multiple Mode Option Menu:

   Gives a menu with all available Modes instead of having to press the "Change Mode" button several times.

4. Custom Music:

   Allows you to change the music that plays while being on the Region Map.

5. Bigger Screen Size Support:

   Gives support for game screen sizes that are different than the default one of 512x384.

6. Detailed Location Preview:

   Shows you detailed information of a Location.

7. Region Map Switch with menu:

   Allows you to switch between different Regions.

8. Change the UI by Region:

   Allows different UI Graphics to be used for each Region.

9. Game Translation Support:

   Supports game Translation if any has been set-up.

10. Roaming Icons:

    Shows roaming pokemon on the Region Map (Roaming mode) if any.

11. Locaton Searcher with filter option:

    Gives a list with available locations and allows to search in them as well.

12. Fake Locations: Allows you to setup mutliple Town Map Positions on a single Game Map.

13. Progress Counter: Shows the progress of Maps Visited, Trainer Defeated, Items Found and Pokémon Seen and Caught.

14. Mouse Support: Allows you to select a location, move the map and interact with a location (like opening a Location, Quest or Berry Preview or select that Location to Fly to).

15. Region Map Time Dependable: Allows you to have a different Region Map image used depending on the time in the Game.

16. Extended Location Preview: Shows more info of a Location after opening the Location Preview.

17. Region Map Zooming: Allows you to Zoom in/out the Region Map.

Features that require other plugins:

1. Quest Icons and Quest Preview:

   1. Requires: Modern Quest System

   2. These Icons will only show on the Quest Mode, if therer are any active quests and if those or any quests have a map position defined.

2. Poke Gear Themes:

   1. Requires: Lin's Poke Gear themes

   2. All graphics required by the Region Map script are included in the PokeGear themes plugin in their respective Theme map.

3. Weather Preview:

   1. Requires: Lin's Weather System

   2. Shows in a small preview box the weather of the current Location.

4. Set the Controls Screen:

   1. Requires: FL's Set the Control Screen Plugin

   2. The Region Map Script will convert the Buttons you've set for each Action to the actual keyboard key that was set by this Plugin. Like if you set the space key for Action, in the Region Map it'll then say "Space: Show Info".

5. Berry Icons and Preview:

   1. Requires: Berry Planting Improvements.

   2. If more than 1 berry has been planted on a Location, you'll be able to view the amount of plants, their kind and their current growth stage in a small preview.
